Not for the whole world to see

 I was getting ready for class the other day when Akka came to clean the house. From the corner of my eyes I could see her looking at me combing my hair and putting my tudung on. Err not in a creepy way of course. Haha.

 Anyway, I was about to put my scarf on when she said, "Why are you covering your hair when its so pretty?" in her hindi-english dialect. (Mind you, I just shampooed my hair that day so it was looking silkier and shinier than usual. God knows how far from perfect my hair is at the moment). I almost blurted out "I know rightttt" but managed to stop myself. I mean, come on, don't tell me none of you guys ever looked at yourself in the mirror and go like, goshhh my hair looks so beautiful right now I wish I didn't have to wear tudung! No? Just me? Okay.

 So instead, I just smiled at her and told her it was compulsory for us to cover ourselves up. Then I remembered what my ex-roomate in college once told me;

"Sebab cantiklah kita kena tutup".

Imagine, our beauty is so sacred that only those dear to us are allowed to see and appreciate. Subhanallah :)

My (not really) first post

*Clears throat*

Bonjour!
I'm going to give blogging another shot. This decision was totally made on impulse so I'm really excited to see how long it'll last. More than a month I hope! #fingerscrossed

Oh, I find editing the layout and everything so time consuming and since I have some studying to do thanks to Psychiatry End Posting Exam tomorrow (sheesh), I think I'll just get to that some other time, maybe when I don't have things like Kurt Schneider's First Rank Symptoms of Schizophrenia to worry about.
